How we check prices
BaySplit is an independent guide to indoor golf simulator venues. It exists to answer one question well: what will a bay actually cost my group, per person?
Where prices come from
- Only the venue's own website or booking page. We read it ourselves and record the exact page and date.
- No copying from other directories. Listing sites are often out of date, so we don't use their prices. When a venue publishes nothing, we may show what listing sites claim, clearly labelled as unverified, and never in the ranking.
- No guessing. If something isn't published, such as group size or the simulator model, we say “not published”.
How the ranking works
Venues are ranked by cost per player for the group you enter: bay rate × hours × bays needed ÷ players, before tax. A venue is ranked only when its own site publishes a current hourly price for weekday daytime, weekday evening and weekends. Where a venue has several rates in one slot, we use its standard rate and mention the cheaper options on its page.
Venues cannot pay to appear or to rank higher. There are no sponsored listings.
How often we update
We re-check every venue at least once a quarter and at the start of each winter season. Every price shows the date it was last checked.
Ads and affiliate links
BaySplit currently shows no ads and no affiliate links. If we add either, they will be clearly labelled on the page and noted here. Links to venues are plain links; we earn nothing from bookings.
Corrections
Prices change. If you spot a wrong price, a closed venue or a missing one, email corrections@baysplit.com with a link to the venue's current rates page. Venue owners can also ask us to fix or remove their listing.
